BASKETBALL SCHOOL "TORNADO" JAZZ-KTU lends T. Virvičius competes in Kaunas d. „Tornado“ team (RKL)
Kaunas "Jazz - KTU" centre forward Tomas Virvičius now will play in Kaunas d. "Tornado" team which competes in Regional League of Basketball (RKL) A division.
Kaunas squad adding center forwards Rokas Grinius and Regimantas Ostreika further decrease T. Virvičius number of minutes spent on the pitch.
The decision was made to lend a basketball player until the end of the season to a team, where he will be able to reveal more, become stronger mentally and showcase the game coaches are expecting.
"I'm returning to Kaunas d. "Tornado" to obtain more experience. I hope next season I'll be more improved and will get back to "Jazz - KTU" not to sit on the bench, but to play and so be good for the team, "- said T.Virvičius.
Center forward played avg. 5,5 minutes, as well as scored 1,6 points per game in National League of Basketball (NKL). Tomas Virvičius had played in Kaunas d. "Tornado" last season. At the moment this team takes 11th place RKL A division.
